Wreaths Across America

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day – at more than 1,200 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad – volunteers gather to place wreaths at the grave sites of our fallen soldiers. The mission of Wreaths Across America is to REMEMBER our fallen U.S. veterans, HONOR those who serve, and TEACH your children the value of freedom.

Let’s Get Primed

A good friend of mine, a veteran himself, drives for Prime, Inc., North America’s most successful refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and inter-modal trucking company. Each year, he and many of their other drivers, haul trailers filled with wreaths to the cemetery locations where the wreath-laying ceremonies are taking place. For the 2017 run, my dear friend humbled me by asking me to create a graphic to display on the skirt of his truck.

The Final Image

I admit to being rather nervous with this job. After all, it’s for an amazing event sponsored by an even more amazing organization. I wanted to create something that would be worthy of not just the subject matter, but also of our brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and security. The final artwork is shown below and I cannot wait to see how it looks after it’s been applied to the truck!

Thank you, dear friend

All I can really say right now is – Thank you! I look forward to creating your graphics for years to come!
